2007 Event Highlights

Before arriving at Natural Products Day, the Natural Products Association wants you to know what to expect, what issues we will be focusing on at Natural Products Day, and everything else you need to know to be prepared for April 8.

Tuesday Morning Training Session

Before your appointments on Natural Products Day, attendees will get to attend a morning training session and issues briefing hosted by Brad Fitch, founder and CEO of Knowlegis. Fitch has spent 20 years in Washington as a journalist, congressional aide, consultant, college instructor, and writer/researcher, and is here to provide expert advice on what to expect on Natural Products Day. At the training session, attendees will meet with their industry peers and members of each state delegation for an in-depth look at the issues that are facing the natural products industry in Congress, as well as  focusing on how to get lasting committments from your legislators.

This training session will also be where attendees receive their itineraries for their appointments and all attendee material, including leave-behind information to present to your legislators.

Please arrive for this training session at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served. The training session will begin at 9:00 a.m. After the training session, buses will transport participants to Capitol Hill for a group photo and afternoon appointments with their legislators.
